"This museum was the highlight of my visit to Gdansk! It was such a powerful lesson in history and a beautiful memorial to all those who lived and died through World War 2. I paid for the guided audio tour and I highly recommend it if you really want to make the most of your visit. I was very moved and left the museum with so much admiration for what Poland weht through in the war. One of the best museum experiences of my life."

"If you're in Gdansk, this museum is a MUST DO visit. It's excellent. You'll need 3 to 4 hours minimum to enjoy the numerous exhibits. There's a cafe which sells snacks, cakes and some cooked foods, we had potato cakes and Hungarian dumplings, both of which were big portion sizes and were tasty too. There's lockers to store bags in, you'll need a 2pl coin to use them, or the person at the cloakroom will give you a token to use in the lockers if you've not got a coin. We visited on a Tuesday, and it was free entry which was a pleasant surprise. Be aware though that the museum closes at 4pm on Tuesdays so arrive in good time to be able to see the museum in its entirety. Highly recommended place to visit"

"An amazing experience (although, not a happy one, obviously) since the designers of the museum have made a really good work to create such an immersive experience. It goes without saying that the audioguide is a must and works really accurately as well (one of the best I have experienced). The museum immediately makes sure that you are immersed in a multimodal arsenal and the structure of the guide makes you feel that you are in a documentary, from start to finish. When in Gdansk, this should be one of the priorities since, either being a history junkie or just a first-timer, this museum will make sure that you will see everything."

"A very impressive museum!! It’s far larger than you can imagine - I think you could spend all day here if you read everything. You don’t have to get an audio headset but it was nice to have a quick orientation to each exhibit. I can highly recommend visiting here!"
