"Minor museum inside the.old town hall full of history. Notice the impressive oak wood stair from the entrance hall. So beautiful. In the next room, you will find a beautiful room that was previously the city council hall. The ceiling is covered with detailed paintings telling a history. The displays are a good mix of art, silverware and in the end the museum has reconstructed old stores and small rooms with real things from the time in question. The tower was closed because of the winter season. We knew that in advance. Go there on a Monday, where many of the minor city museums are free."

"Main Town Hall stands at the convergence of Długa and Długi Targ streets. The origins of the edifice go down to the Middle Ages. From mid-15th century and up to the year 1921 it was the seat of the city authorities. One of the museums belonging to the Museum of Gdansk is located here in the former Gdansk Main Town Hall."

"Wonderful museum documenting local history. Definitely take the audio tour for a small additional fee, it's a great way to view the exhibit. This building had been the town hall for Gdansk for centuries, and is stuffed to the brim with fascinating history. There's also a viewing tower with a gorgeous view that's definitely worth conquering the stairs!"

"A lovely little museum located right in the heart of the town. The rooms are thoughtfully arranged and beautifully tell the story of the city. Also, entry is free on Mondays 😉"
